"Slain in the Spirit" Conclusion

Why do people fall under the power of the Holy Spirit? The answer is simple. Their bodies cannot stand up under the mighty presence of God! So what does it mean, during a Church service, and people are being "Slain in the Spirit"? Once again, a simple answer, God is in the house! Our calling is to "seek the God of the blessing" not the " blessings of God"! When we reject the practice of falling under the power, we are saying we do not receive the Presence of God. God is the reason we fall to the ground and His presence is what we seek. At Family of Faith Ministries we welcome the Holy Spirit into our midst. How people react to His presence is personal and up to that individual. Everyone reacts differently to different things. So understand, that being "Slain in the Spirit" is not a test of spirituality or a good service, it is only a sign that God is moving here! You may never experience being "Slain in the Spirit" but that does not mean that God is moving in your life! Remember, God loves you and has many wonderful blessings in store for your life. Our calling is to "seek the God of the blessing" not the "blessings of God"!
